DESCRIPTION:Bridge Valley’s Leader in Training program aims to provide an exciting\, safe\, encouraging\, challenging and fun environment for young people to extend\, or begin\, their leadership journey. It is for ages 14+ and involves a week long adventure out at Bridge Valley. The program involves team challenges\, activities\, serving\, cleaning\, bible-based sessions\, understanding camp life and responsibilities\, helping run games\, joining in on mainstage\, reflection time and plenty more! \nOur LIT programme is aimed at young people who want to step up in a few areas – this important to expect when registering for this camp. Contact us if you want to know exactly what this looks like. \nLIT runs alongside our kids holiday programme\, so anyone in this LIT programme gets some experience of the behind-the-scenes of camp life such as helping run games\, doing dishes\, setting up and packing down activities\, and more. Along with the camp side of it\, there will also be sessions with experienced people in our community who will teach how to lead yourself well\, how to lead others well\, teach bible-focused sessions\, and personal growth. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a Men’s Leadership Seminar on Saturday\, 5 April\, 9:15-3:00 pm at Hope Community Church (HCC). This is a joint event between Grace\, Hope\, and New Life churches.  \nRoger Osbaldiston\, the author of the book\, The Integrated Life of Leaders\, is the keynote speaker. Roger was born and raised in NZ and is based in Auckland\, where he is the Global Vice President of Student-Led Movements for Campus Crusade for Christ International. \nThe seminar\, whilst coming from a Christian perspective\, is designed to give practical insights into leadership and leadership development in a variety of contexts. If you are in any sort of leadership or supervisory role at church or in your workplace (or aspire to be)\, you will benefit from attending. \nThe day will consist of three main sessions: (1) The Integrated Life of the Leader\, (2) The Essentials of Successful Leadership\, and (3) Preparing the Next Generation of Leaders. \n$25 per person\, including morning/afternoon tea and lunch (pizza).
