DESCRIPTION:Summer Paradise Camp is on it’s way for 11-13 year olds! We will be having a lot of water time\, electives\, mainstage\, games\, hang out time\, and summery fun! \nHoliday camps are a safe\, fun and entertaining way for children to spend their holidays.\nBridge Valley is an OSCAR certificated childcare provider and also has OutdoorsMark certification for our adventurous activities and Health and Safety System.\nThey’re also very easy. We’ve made them even easier by offering pick ups from Nelson CBD and extending the finishing time of camp to 4pm.

SUMMARY:Rejoice Kings Kids - YWAM Nelson
DESCRIPTION:It’s all about having fun\, getting to know Jesus and developing a personal relationship with God in a mini DTS setting. Children and youth will learn tools such as drama and dance to equip them for reaching out to share the love of Jesus within the community.\nOver the first 4 days they will learn the word\, participate in team building\, making new friends and growing in their own faith. At the end of the learning phase the children and youth will then go onto outreach phase where they show the public the performing arts they have learnt\, why this is important to them and share personal stories where God has answered prayer in their lives. These opportunities take place in parks\, malls\, children’s programmes and rest homes. It is a really cool time to see everything they have learnt come together and to see them growing as individuals and as a team.\nThe programme is held on the YWAM base in beautiful Wakapuaka\, Nelson.

DESCRIPTION:Bridge Valley’s Intermediate Camps are overnight\, week-long camps that are filled with fun activities\, great food\, awesome volunteer leaders\, and lots of social hang out times. At intermediate camp\, we also have electives\, which provide the campers with a more personalised week\, getting to choose the activities they want to do. We aim to challenge the campers while providing them with a fun\, positive week in a love-filled culture and atmosphere.

SUMMARY:LIT Camp (Leader in Training)
DESCRIPTION:Our LIT Camp is all about training up strong young leaders in a camp environment. This is the camp to get to if you want to be a camp leader in the future\, but also provides a lot of skills\, ethic\, and knowledge that can be used anywhere. LIT is held during our Junior Holiday Camp\, so they get to join in and help out with a lot of the events happening during the week\, while also having teaching sessions and practical serving sessions. We also focus highly on growing people spiritually and supporting them in their relationship with God. This camp is for ages 14-16\, no experience is required.

SUMMARY:BVIP Weekend
DESCRIPTION:Our BVIP Weekend are for ages 13-16\, and are all about teaching young leaders about their value\, identity\, and purpose. This is a four-stage programme\, held throughout four weekends of the year – although you don’t need to attend all of them to get something out of it! The first one of the year is all about “Leading Yourself”\, and we teach this through active learning\, fun activities\, and debriefing thoroughly. This is a Friday night – Sunday night camp\, with our annual fundraiser (Family Fun Day) on the final day\, where the BVIPers get to help out.
